2. Robotics Membership Dues

Members, please bring your $25 membership dues to Mrs. Rutland at D216. Members will be unable to attend the Peachtree Regional if they have not returned their membership dues.
3. Schedule

Our scheduled meetings and construction dates are listed in this thread.
The schedule will be updated on the forum. Please attend these meetings to participate in the construction of our robot.
4. Workday Lunch

The team will eat cheese/pepperoni pizza for lunch on Saturday/Sunday workdays. Parents, if you are able to provide low-cost lunches to the team, you will be fully reimbursed and will have a special place in our hearts. Parents who are able to bring the pizza from the pizza parlor to the school are also welcome.
5. FIRST Robotics Competition: Events

Team 1261, the Robolions, will participate in the following events:
March 17 - March 19: Peachtree Regional at the Gwinnett Civic Center [Suwanee, GA]
March 31 - April 2: Smoky Mountain Regional at the Knoxville Convention Center [Knoxville, TN]
If we perform in an excellent manner in these two events, we may also participate in:
April 27 - April 30: FRC Championship at the Edward Jones Dome [St. Louis, MO]
UPDATE: We will participate in the Scrimmage event on February 19 at Kimberly-Clark Hembree Crest Facility. Members must arrive at PRHS at 9:00 AM on the event day. The event will last from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pizzas and drinks will be served at the event.
Kimberly-Clark Hembree Crest Facility is located at 11415 Old Roswell Road Suite 100, Alpharetta, GA 30004. The driving instructions from Peachtree Ridge High School to the Scrimmage event area is included in this link.
Parents, if you are available on the 19th and can assist the team by driving the members to the Kimberly-Clark Facility, please contact Mrs. Rutland (mary_rutland@gwinnett.k12.ga.us).
