Curious here,
Is this system to upload pictures that are on the gallery to a more secure location or something or is it to upload everything, including some stuff that might not be on the gallery?
If I'm not mistaken, I think Flickr allows us to very easily embed photos through and links what nots as well.
Could be a system that will better help us integrate the media aspect of robotics into the website.

Upload everything. Plus its a bit more secure/flexible. Ish.
We will also get a HDD as a "omg the world is blowing up" backup.

Heh, actually it is in the Flickr Community Guidelines to not allow that. But its not like it isn't easy enough to upload that media to the website.
