Hi all,
I found this last night and found it quite interesting. It's quite simply to put a mathematical computation engine that lives on your computer.
From their mission: "Creating a viable free open source alternative to Magma, Maple, Mathematica and Matlab.". Very interesting. I have no experience with any of these software, but what I know is that Sage can do quite a lot of things.
